Harley Quinn issue two picks up where the last one left off, with Red Tool being catapulted to the hospital and zombies taking over the town. Harley and gang gear up and run into action, but quickly realized that the odds are stacked against them. They realize that it will be hard to take the hordes head on, so instead they try to run away but also figure out what is causing this whole pandemic. Eventually the gang gets stuck in an amusement park and find a way to lock themselves in one place to stay safe. Issue two continues the light hearted fun with cool looking action set-pieces, hilarious dialogue and gory combat. I was slightly disappointed with the fact that the story didn’t progress much, but I don’t expect the same amount of story as a Batman book, even though I would welcome it. I don’t have much more to say about this issue, due to its simplicity and how fast its pace is, but I would recommend this as a fun read for your off-time when you’re not reading your main series books.
